Gen Live, Inc. is a faith-based mission organization to challenge and connect the now generation of youth and millennials to pursue our ultimate purpose-driven future in Jesus.

Gen Live produces event experiences and thought-challenging presentations--gateways to a hopeful future. Through art, drama, music, and real-life story presentations, Gen Live connects young adults with Jesus.

Why
Millennials, young adults ages 18 to 35, are the largest of all U.S. generations, 83 million, even surpassing the Baby Boomers at 74 million.

Millennials are at a critical point in determining a future purpose for their lives. Tragically, many in the millennial generation are disoriented, disillusioned, and scrambling to make sense of life in an increasingly complex world.
Caught in our complex world struggling to survive with fewer support connections, young adults are increasingly drawn into the extremes of indulgence or destruction – behaviors that influence the culture of our communities.

Millennials are more often plugged into technology and unplugged from reality. Events like the Untamed Rock Opera are an opportunity to reconnect. Gen Live produces relevant catalysts appeals to the hyper-senses of the young generation, searching for significance.

Gen Live was founded in 2014 by Kara Aubrey Nelson, an award-winning musician,
singer and songwriter, professionally known as Kara Aubrey. Kara has performed
for audiences of all ages throughout the U.S., with radio airplay internationally.

Against the background of cultural distractions, the clarion call of Kara is "to challenge
my generation to live beyond the surface by digging deeper than the platforms of our
culture." Her personal mission fuels the mission of Gen Live.
Seeing her peers struggle emotionally, socially, financially, and spiritually as they try to
establish themselves in a society influenced by drugs, alcohol, sex, and violence.
After becoming aware of the spike in diagnoses of depression and anxiety disorder that afflict Kara's age group more than any other, she pushed the pause button on her own budding solo music career to create Gen Live, with a mission to challenge and encourage young adults to pursue their ultimate purpose-driven future.

Kara says, "I want to change the world, and I believe I found The Way. It's through Jesus."
