About Kara Aubrey

Driven to breathe life into her lost generation, rock star evangelist Kara Aubrey founded the Untamed Generation purposed with a vision to see her generation become untamed passionate followers of Jesus.

Unique

As a singer, speaker, songwriter, play writer, director, music producer, worship leader–and the Founder of the Untamed Generation, Kara uniquely releases her talents to reach her desperate generation.

As the founder of Untamed, Kara is driven to reaching and discipleing her generation for Jesus. In 2014, Kara pushed the pause button on her own budding solo music career, to fully focus on developing the artistic and innovative ministry Untamed Generation, a 501c3 nonprofit ministry.

As a teenage songwriter, Kara gained music publisher attention as one of the top 5 songwriters at the Gospel Music Association’s National Songwriting Competition with her song “Addicted to Noise,” a journey that has continued into recording studios of Nashville and Hollywood.

As an artist, Kara gained the oversight of music moguls including Ken Kragen, manager of Kenny Rogers, Lionel Richie, Trisha Yearwood, and Michael Jackson, James Lugo, producer and “American Idol” coach, and Dan Keen, vice-president of ASCAP. Kara’s songs have gained radio play in the US, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Brazil.

As a performer, Kara has taken the stage at the Spirit West Coast Music Festival, Henry Fonda Music Box Theater in Hollywood, LA Live Terrace in Los Angeles, Michael W. Smith’s Rocketown in Nashville, and the legendary Abbey in Memphis, TN. Three TV networks aired her celebratory concert live on the campus of California State University.

As a college student, Kara won the 2012 fan voted Sam Ash Coyote Radio Music Award, as the best independent music artist in southern California’s San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, and a nominee for the Hollywood Star Music Award.

As a playwriter, Kara has written and produced a number of musical productions including the Christmas play entitled “More than a Gift,” and more recently – the Untamed Rock Opera. Untamed is an original evangelical outreach production expressed through rock music, drama, dance, cinema, and engaging technological audience interactions.

As an evangelist, Kara Aubrey’s evangelistic roots run deep, stemming from her great-grandmother Alice Erickson, the lead pianist for evangelist Aimee McPherson, founder of Foursquare denomination, and producer of Aimee’s first radio show.

Kara is a member of the Luis Palau’s Next Generation Alliance, and was invited two years in a row to represent Untamed at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C.

Once a song, now an anthem

Kara’s song entitled “Untamed” has become a rallying cry for her generation of youth and millennials.

Kara’s journey began as an infant in a little church in Seal Beach, CA. The pastor, prompted by the Lord, spoke prophesied that she would be an evangelist to her generation. As a teenager, while working in a Nashville studio, the music producer, sensing her passion, encouraged her to begin writing her life’s mission statement. Only years later, after establishing Untamed, did she learn of the prophesy.
