Statistics

Captivated by the enticing ways of the world, tragically many youth and millennials find

themselves  unknowingly tamed into a shifting and chaotic global culture. Trying to

find their own way, many  are increasingly caught spiraling into a cascade

of addictive and destructive behaviors.

More than any previous generation, millennials will determine the course

of our country - and the world. millennials, young adults ages 18 to 35,

are the largest of all  U.S. generations, 83 million,  even surpassing

the Baby Boomers at  74 million.

While millennials and youth, are the most educated

generations, yet they are the least likely to have control

over their minds, bodies, and emotions.

A silent war is seizing their tamed lives,

even those inside the church.

The young generation is searching for an

escape route --not knowing that

Jesus is the only way.

Behind the façade, millennials

are  unknowingly seeking

a  Savior.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Hopeful

Though there is no shortage of staggering statistics about youth and millennials today, UNTAMED founder Kara Aubrey stands to see that the next generation becomes the world's best generation yet. Youth and millennials want to change the world -- they are searching.

With the near extinction of Christian millennials, the question is why would they want to be a Jesus follower and what would keep them engaged in a church? Think-tanks give the following five tips*

  1. They Want More of Jesus Christ

  2. They Want to Read the Whole Bible

  3. They Long for Intergenerational Community

  4. They Are Looking for Places to Serve

  5. They Are Desperate for a Purpose Greater Than Themselves

Discussing the findings of a Pew Research study*, Tyler Francke suggests a few reasons why millennial Christians will change everything, including:

  1. They are poised for revival.

  2. They’re more individualistic.

  3. They speak tech.

  4. They question everything.

  5. They are relentless optimists

UNTAMED started in 2014 by Kara Aubrey, as a 501c3 nonprofit ministry. Within two years, UNTAMED events began attracting crowds of 1,500.

Just as Jesus went out to connect with people, the vision of  UNTAMED is to connect with the young generation on campuses, in churches, on social media, and wherever the young generation congregates.

As Jesus connected with people through parables, UNTAMED connects by producing edgy catalysts relevant to the young generation -- skeptics and believers.

Through rock-music, drama, dance, cinema, and engaging technological interactions, UNTAMED provides a gateway for the work of His Spirit to transform lives into a passionate UNTAMED life to follow Jesus -- the world's only hope.
